Exited through the north gate of the Forbidden City and climbed the hill in Jingshan Park for elevated panoramic views of the Forbidden City.

Travelshorts’ observation: Climbing the hill in Jingshan Park immediately after exiting the north gate of the Forbidden City gives the best elevated overview of the entire palace complex.
