Exited through the north gate of the Forbidden City and climbed the hill in Jingshan Park for elevated panoramic views of the Forbidden City.

Ate a traditional Peking roast duck dinner at Quanjude restaurant, served with duck broth, pancakes, hoisin sauce, and duck-shaped ice cream.
